A Rail Ale Trail is a fun and easy way to combine two great things — trains and pubs. The idea’s simple: hop on a train, stop off at different stations along the route, and check out the local pubs near each one. It’s a great way to explore new places, try local beers, and enjoy a day out without needing to drive. Some trails are well known, others you can piece together yourself. Whether you’re with mates or going solo, it’s a relaxed and sociable way to enjoy good beer and a bit of an adventure by rail.
