Real Ale Finder – keeping beer lists up to date
Real Ale Finder helps pubs keep their beer boards up to date. Customers can see what’s on before they visit.

Getting started
The main menu is where you add beers, change your stock, share a beer board and check reports. It’s all close at hand.
Customers can see what’s on, what’s coming soon and get alerts for beers they fancy trying.
Adding beers and ciders
Search for a beer or cider, pick the right one and add it. If it’s missing, choose Product Not Found.
Prices, sizes and status
Choose a cask, keg or box, add the prices and mark the beer as ordered, coming soon, available now or finished.
You can add prices for pints, halves, thirds and two-thirds.
Lines and colours
Tap LINE N/A to choose a line number. TAG lets you give a beer a colour.
Keeping your beer list up to date
Inventory shows which beers are on now, coming soon or finished. It’s easy to keep the list up to date.
Add line numbers and colour tags if you need them. Customers who follow a beer may get an alert when it goes on.
Favourites
Favourites keeps saved beers in one place. Just tap the X to remove one.
Sharing your beer board
Pick a ready-made design, including Good Beer Guide or a seasonal one, and see how your beer board looks before sharing.
Make the message your own
The app prepares a message with your live beer-board link. You can edit it, add tags or share just the picture.
You can also save your own message in Settings. The app can add the link and brewery tags for you.
Putting your beer list on a TV
Show your live beer list on a TV, alongside upcoming beers, photos and special offers.
Choose a beer-board design
Choose a classic beer list, a multi-price board, GBG Clips or a Coming Soon screen. There are cider and other colour styles too.
Make your own slideshow
In Screen Content, add a beer board, a picture or a QR slide. Choose how long each one stays on screen.
Show pictures and offers
Add your own pictures for events, food offers or anything else happening at the pub.
The Real Ale Finder QR slide
The ready-made QR slide helps customers find the app and follow your pub. You can change the colours and timing, but not the QR picture.
Getting it on the TV
Open realalefinder.com/tv on your TV. Enter its PIN in the app, then save the page and switch to full screen.
TV screens are included with Premium (£50 a year).

Staff accounts and events
Give staff their own logins. You can also add beer festivals and other pub events for customers to see.
Other drinks
List bottles, cans and other keg beers under Other Products.
Posters and things to print
Print QR posters for your beer list, along with tasting-note cards and other useful bits.
You can also show prices and let people know about takeaway or delivery.
Reports – see what’s happening
See how many people look at your beer board, how long beers stay on and other useful figures.
Beer boards, followers and stock
You can also check followers, past stock and estimated pints sold per hour.
Proximity Alerts
See how many nearby people received an alert when you added a beer they wanted. The report covers the past month.
Download Data
Tap Download CSV to save your sold-product records as a spreadsheet.
New beers and nearby breweries
See new beers and ciders added to the app. A yellow L marks breweries within 30 miles.
Premium features – £50 a year
The pub app is free. Premium costs £50 a year and adds TV beer boards, a live website feed and ad-free pub accounts.
Put your beer board on your website
Use the iframe option to add your beer board to a website, or a JSON feed for your own layout.
There’s a free trial option in the app if you’d like to give it a go.

Update your details in Profile. If you need a hand, Help has FAQs and a contact form.
