About Partick

Partick grew from an old settlement on the River Clyde into a busy part of Glasgow shaped by industry, shipbuilding and the expansion of the city. Dumbarton Road remains one of its main streets, with Kelvinhall Subway making this one of the easiest parts of the trail to explore on foot.
