The Mallard

The Mallard is one of the Worksop stops on the Sheffield to Retford Rail Ale Trail and is built into the railway station itself. The former refreshment room keeps plenty of railway character, while four changing cask ales are normally available. With the platform only steps away, it is one of the easiest stops on the whole route.

About Worksop

Worksop is a Nottinghamshire market town close to the Chesterfield Canal and the wider Sherwood Forest area. Its growth was shaped by transport and later by coal mining, while the railway remains important to the town today. The two featured trail pubs sit together around the station.
