Railway Inn, Greenfield

โ† Back to Transpennine Ale Trail

Railway Inn, Greenfield

The Railway Inn sits directly opposite Greenfield station, making it an easy second stop on the trail. Inside, the traditional pub is arranged around a central bar with plenty of seating and a relaxed, straightforward look. One of its best features is the beer garden, reached just up the road from the pub. From here there are wide views across Greenfield towards the surrounding countryside and hills, giving this stop a very different setting from the station bars elsewhere on the route. A good choice of changing cask ales completes this popular Transpennine stop.
