This small bar opened in July 2023 as Docker Bar, taking over the former Inn Doors micropub. After Docker opened a larger brewery taproom at Park Farm, the Sandgate venue was renamed Bar 96 to make the two places easier to tell apart.

Inside is a compact modern bar with a line of taps for Docker beers. The room is narrow and straightforward, with seating arranged around the bar and windows, while additional seating is available outside on Sandgate High Street.

Beer: Docker keg beers are the main focus. CAMRA currently lists one changing cask beer, but notes that cask availability can be sporadic.

Opening: Mon closed; Tue–Thu 17:00–22:30; Fri 14:00–22:30; Sat 12:00–22:30; Sun 12:00–20:00.
