Beer Shop Folkestone is a shop conversion combining a specialist bottle and can selection with a small independent bar. Alongside the packaged range, it usually offers one or two microbrewery cask ales served from taps on the rear wall.
Inside is a long, narrow room with a tiled floor and a mixed collection of tables and chairs. The shelves and beer displays give it the look of a bottle shop, while the seating makes it easy to stay for a drink rather than simply browse.
Beer: CAMRA currently lists one changing cask ale, plus real cider, keg beer and a wide bottled and canned range.
Opening: Mon closed; Tue–Thu 16:00–22:00; Fri–Sat 12:00–23:00; Sun 12:00–21:00.
