Kipps’ Alehouse follows the micropub idea but with a broader drinks range than some. Its cask ales are drawn from a cooled glass-fronted stillage, with a strong emphasis on small independent breweries and Kent beer.
Inside is a characterful town-centre room tucked into Folkestone’s Old High Street. The bar and beer stillage are a strong part of the room, with seating arranged around the compact space and plenty to look at without it feeling overdone.
Beer: Usually three cask ales, with a fourth added when practical, plus several ciders and a wider bottled and draught range.
Opening: Mon–Tue closed; Wed–Thu 16:30–21:00; Fri 14:00–23:00; Sat 12:00–23:30; Sun 12:00–20:00.

Kipps’ is on the Old High Street, linking Folkestone town centre with the harbour area. It is within walking distance of Folkestone Central station and the bus station.
