The premises opened in 2017 as the Troubadour of Kent micropub. It later became the Tontine Tavern, then a brewery taproom, before reopening as The Blind Pig in 2024. CAMRA says it has since transferred to become the taproom for the local Swallow Brewery.

Inside is a compact taproom with a small bar and seating arranged through the main room. The space has changed names several times, but it has kept the small independent bar layout that suits Tontine Street.

Beer: CAMRA currently marks cask ale as unavailable and does not list any current beers, so this is now primarily a brewery taproom rather than a cask stop.

Opening: Mon–Tue closed; Wed–Thu 16:00–21:30; Fri 16:00–23:00; Sat 13:00–23:00; Sun 13:00–21:00.
