The Bouverie Tap is a small independent pub at the western end of Folkestone town centre. It combines a compact bar with a basement restaurant and has built a strong local focus around Kent beer, cider, spirits and food.
Inside, the pub has plenty of character, with old posters and adverts across the walls and a distinctive wartime Jeep radiator grille displayed above the bar. The room is cosy rather than large, with the restaurant space downstairs.
Beer: CAMRA currently lists three changing local cask ales and a local cider.
Opening: Mon–Thu 12:00–22:00; Fri 12:00–23:00; Sat 09:00–23:00; Sun 09:00–21:00.
