Smugglers Record Shop combines a vinyl record shop with a small independent bar, sitting between Deal’s seafront and the pedestrian centre. The mix of records and beer gives it a different character from a traditional micropub, while keeping a strong focus on local independent producers.
Inside, record racks and shelves line the room around the bar and seating. The space feels more like a record shop you can settle into for a drink, with a mix of high benches and lower seating and a small amount of pavement seating outside.
Beer: 2 changing cask ales, with a third sometimes added on busier weekends. Local breweries often feature, alongside real cider, craft beer, cans and bottles.
Opening: Mon–Wed 14:30–20:00; Thu–Fri 14:30–22:00; Sat 10:00–22:00; Sun 11:00–17:00.
