Old Bay Alehouse is a small independent micropub close to Minnis Bay. The pub has built a strong local following around changing real ales, including at least one local beer, with ciders, wines and traditional bar snacks also available.
Inside, the room is compact and welcoming, with a mix of seating and the bar serving beer by gravity from a temperature-controlled stillage. There is also outdoor seating at the front, giving a little extra space when the weather is good.
Beer: 3 changing real ales, with occasional real cider.
Opening: Mon–Tue closed; Wed–Sat 16:00–21:00; Sun 12:00–16:00.

Getting to Old Bay Alehouse
The pub is on Minnis Road, around a 10-minute walk from Birchington-on-Sea railway station and close to the 32 bus route.
