BUY ME A PINT
One from a few weeks ago. Day out to visit some of Manchesters amazing breweries, a large number of which are situated near Manchester Poccadilly station (with a couple being in units in Railway Arches)
Escape from Freight Island
First call was to “Escape from Freight Island”, this area has been converted from what used to be Mayfield Station and Goods Yard. Pomona Island brewery have a tap room here aswell, and the old goods shed has been converted into a multi use food, drink and events venue.

Alphabet Brewing Company
Brewery was formed in 2014, this one is located under the Railway Arches. All keg/canned beers here but a good selection. I decided on the Boysenberry Sour – The Boysen Back in Town at 3.5% ABV

Beer Nouveau
A short walk further up the road brings me to Beer Nouveau brewery tap. Great little place here with beers served from both Cask and Keg (and some from smaller local breweries aswell including a cider)

Track Brewing Co
Around a 10 minute walk from Beer Nouveau is an industrial estate where both Track Brewing Co and Cloudwater are located. First a drop into Track Brewing Co. My first visit here and its an amazing use of space and an outstanding selection of beers on. As with Beer Nouveau both Cask and Keg (and a lot of cans)

Cloudwater Brew Co
Literally over the road from Track is Cloudwater Brew Co. Visited here before and is located on the first floor. Again a great use of space and a good selection of Cask and Keg beers with some big hitters also on the menu!

The Runaway Brewery
Bit of a way from Cloudwater so Uber time to The Runaway Brewery. Visited here once before and was impressed last time with the beers, although was a bit hidden so remember walking past it a couple of times upon finding it. Luckily this time there was a sign on the street!

As with the last few a great selection of Cask and Keg beers on here, and nicely sat above the brewery equipment.
