The Bay Micropub Trail follows the coast around Morecambe Bay, linking Carnforth, Hest Bank, Morecambe and Heysham through a collection of independent micropubs. Most of the route uses the local bus network, making it easy to hop between areas without needing to drive.
Take on the full route or keep it local. Morecambe works well on its own, Carnforth and Hest Bank make a shorter northern section, and Warton can be added as an optional extension.

A compact southern section if you want to concentrate on the biggest group of pubs.

🚌 Getting around
Local buses are the backbone of the trail between Carnforth, Hest Bank, Morecambe and Heysham, with additional services useful for some Morecambe stops and the Warton extension.

Check opening hours before setting off, particularly for the smaller micropubs. Bus times can change, and evening or Sunday journeys may need a little more planning than daytime trips.
