BUY ME A PINT
Drum and Monkey
After a long journey up from Manchester, with a cancelled train at Carlisle and onto a replacement bus. I eventually arrived at Glasgow Central. The Drum and Monkey is a stonesthrow away from Glasgow Central Station. Owned by Nicholsons, this corner bar is housed in a former bank.

A few cask beers available but decided on the Stewart Brewing 80/- – Scottish Heavy Beer.

Inn Deep
Onto the Subway “Clockwork Orange” to Kelvinbridge.

Inn Deep is situated on the bank of the River Kelvin with some nice views from the beer garden outside the bar. They were filming scenes for a Batman movie next to here aswell (tunnels used by old railway)

A great selection of beers on here from Williams Brothers Brewing Co and guest beers. Started on Joker IPA from Williams Brothers then onto Trinitone Blast Grapefruit by Drygate Brewery.

Innis & Gunn Brewery Taproom
A walk up from Inn Deep to Innis & Gunn, one of their Brewery Taprooms (Brewery based in Edinburgh). Situated along a street covered in bars and restaurants.

Great selection of their own beers along with guests. Started off with a can of Pilot – Barrel Aged Philly Cherry Sour, followed by Innis & Gunn – 60 Minute New England IPA.

Curlers Rest
Around the corner next to the Curlers Rest. Popular pub as was busy inside. 3 cask ales on here (Oakham, Citra and St Austell), went with the St Austell house beer for the pub, really enjoyed it!

Shilling Brewing Co
Back onto the subway now from Hillhead (next door to Curlers Rest) up to Buchanan Street.

Shilling Brewing Co brews direct for their own brewery tap. Housed in a former bank headquarters which has emphasised the old features. Including the toilets being vaults!

A fantastic range of beers on, both their own and guests. Even includes a canning machine so you can take away your favourite beer.

Noticed a can of Vault City – Apple Soor so started on this green sour, and moved onto a couple more sours (including Compote which Shilling Brewing Co brew)
