BUY ME A PINT
Only a short visit to Edinburgh heading home (only 2 pubs with one being a revisit).
Deacon Brodie’s Tavern
Located on the Royal Mile, a pub which is named after local villain William Brodie (whom was the real life inspiration for Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde). Great bar set on two floors with a nicely decorated ceiling.

A good selection of Cask ales on from Stewart Brewing and Plum Porter from Titanic Brewery. Decided on Holyrood by Stewart Brewing (on Keg), especially with how warm it was.

A walk back up “Wee Vault” now via Edinburgh Castle and Ross Fountain.

Wee Vault
Back to the “Wee Vault” again to finish off the beer menu that I didn’t have time for on Thursday evening.

Id left myself “Guava & Passionfruit”, “Winter Sun” and “Triple Fruited TIPA”, and a bottle of “Apple, Cherry, Cinnamon Swirl”. All great as always from Vault City and a lovely couple from Birmingham to chat to.

Last thing was to head back to Edinburgh Waverley station for my train back home after a fantastic (and sunny) week in Scotland!
