23/09/23 – Morecambe Coast

A day out along the beautiful Morecambe Coastline, getting the train up to Lancaster (been based in Blackpool for the weekend), and using one of the Stagecoach Bus “Bay Rider” tickets which covers you on all Stagecoach Buses within the area I have done below for £5.50. Started at “Coffeys” in Morecambe, before heading up to Heysham for “The Bookmakers”, and returning back via Morecambe for “Little Bare” and “Torrisholme Taps”. Finished the day at “The Crossing” at Hest Bank. Some really excellent independent pubs as you’ll see in the blog.

22/09/23 – Fylde Coast

A Friday trip out visiting some Micropubs along the Flyde Coast, starting at “Cask” in Bispham, “Shipwreck Brewhouse” and “The Venue” in Cleveleys, “Beer Shed” in Fleetwood, along with 2 visits in Blackpool Centre to “No 13 Bonny Street” and “Cask & Tap”. An evening Ghost Walk and Victorian Séance with Stephen Mercer, an excellent walk if you get chance to book onto it. Finishing in “1887 The Brew Room”, home of West Coast Rock Brewery. All this is done using Blackpool Tramway and a day ticket.
