Wobblinn opened on Friday 3rd May 2024. It’s run by Jeff and Julie, who previously ran The Weavers in Kidderminster, bringing plenty of experience with them into this new venture. Since opening, it has become a well-established part of the local micropub scene, drawing in both regulars and visitors looking for a proper pub atmosphere. Over time, it’s built a loyal following and settled nicely into the town’s line-up of independent spots.
Inside, it has a traditional feel that’s easy to warm to. The main room mixes wooden tables and chairs with plenty of character, while the bar is lined with handpulls and a well-stocked back shelf. The walls are covered in pump clips and beer mats, giving it a relaxed, lived-in look. There’s a handy upstairs seating area if you want a quieter spot, while outside, the front terrace with picnic benches is great for a pint in the fresh air. It’s not huge, but that helps it feel friendly, with an easygoing atmosphere where people settle in quickly.
