Freckleton is a compact Fylde village between Kirkham and Warton. Both featured pubs are close to the main road through the village, making them easy to combine on the same stop.
Getting to Freckleton
Bus: The 68 and 68C link Preston, Freckleton, Warton, Lytham, St Anne’s and Blackpool. The 78 also serves Freckleton, running between Great Eccleston and St Anne’s via Wesham, Kirkham and Warton. The War Memorial stops are convenient for both featured pubs.

About Freckleton
Freckleton is a long-established village close to the Ribble Estuary, with strong links to nearby Warton and the aviation industry. One of the most important events in its history was the Freckleton air disaster of 23 August 1944, when a USAAF B-24 Liberator crashed into the village during a test flight. The memorial in the village remembers the 61 people who died, including 38 children.
