About Kirkham
Kirkham grew around its market square and developed as an important local centre for trade and weaving. The town still keeps a traditional high street layout, with Poulton Street, Preston Street and the market area forming the heart of the centre. Kirkham & Wesham station keeps the town well connected by rail.
