About Hednesford

Hednesford sits beside Cannock Chase and is often described as a gateway to the Chase. The town grew strongly with the local coal industry during the 19th century, and that industrial past still forms an important part of the area’s story. Today the station, town centre and Hednesford Park all sit close together, which makes it an easy stop on the railway.
