The Head of Steam in Huddersfield is a distinctive pub located within the Grade I-listed Huddersfield railway station, designed by James Pigott Pritchett and completed in 1850. Established in 1996 in the station’s former London and North Western Railway ticket office, the pub retains much of its Victorian charm. Its interior features four unique rooms adorned with vintage railway memorabilia, including enamel advertising signs, locomotive nameplates, and tiled fireplaces. The Lounge hosts live music, while the Family Room displays a mosaic of a railway station. The Buffet room offers snacks and confectionery, and the Bar is known for its selection of real ales and ciders.
