Marple
Marple has the largest group of featured venues on the Three Counties Rail Ale Trail. Four independent pubs and bars are included around Market Street and Stockport Road, making this a good section to spend a little longer exploring on foot.

About Marple
Marple developed around industry, canals and the River Goyt, with Samuel Oldknow playing an important part in the area’s late-18th-century growth. Today the town centre has a strong cluster of independent pubs and bars within walking distance of the railway.
