The Foundry is home to Canterbury Brewers & Distillers, which began brewing here in 2011. The brewpub combines the bar, brewery and restaurant on one site, keeping the brewing operation closely tied to the pub itself.
Inside, the main bar has an industrial feel, with the brewery visible beyond double doors. The restaurant sits in a separate barn-style area, while the bar itself is large and open, with plenty of wood and exposed brewery equipment adding character.
Beer: 3 regular cask ales from Canterbury Brewers & Distillers, alongside keg beer and cider brewed or produced on site.
Opening: Mon–Thu 12:00–23:00; Fri–Sat 12:00–23:40; Sun 12:00–21:00.

The Foundry is just off Canterbury High Street, around 550 metres from Canterbury East station and close to the bus station.
