Hest Bank grew up as a small settlement by the coast and the old road, known for its wide sea views and salt-marsh landscape. Like nearby places, it was shaped by transport — first the old coach routes, then the railway — helping it become a steady little seaside community. Today it’s a peaceful spot with a long beach and lovely views across Morecambe Bay.
