The Dispensary opened in 2023 in a building that had previously been a chemist and, later, a florist. The name is a nod to that earlier use. The conversion gave the Heysham Road unit another new chapter, this time as a small pub and café-style venue serving drinks through the day and into the evening.
Inside, the room is bright and comfortable, with wooden tables, warm lighting and a compact bar. The décor is clean and understated, with seating arranged around the open room. There is also seating outside at the front.
Beer: Two changing cask ales.
Opening: Mon closed; Tue–Sat 10:00–21:45; Sun 10:00–21:30
