About Hest Bank
Hest Bank sits on the edge of Morecambe Bay and has long been shaped by travel along the coast. The old railway station closed to passengers in 1969, but the West Coast Main Line still runs straight through the village. Its position between Carnforth, Lancaster and Morecambe makes it a useful stopping point on the trail.
Getting to Hest Bank
Use the Stagecoach 5 between Carnforth and Morecambe. The Crossing is a short walk from the Hest Bank railway station / Station Road stops.
