Taps on the Green occupies the former Cross Keys on Kellet Road. The pub was brought back into use as a beer-focused venue and is closely linked with Carnforth-based Q Brew, whose beers regularly feature on the bar. Its modern identity reflects the growth of small independent breweries and micropubs, while the building itself keeps the feel of a traditional suburban local.
Inside, there are two distinct areas with the bar in the rear section. The interior is carpeted and finished in muted grey and beige tones, with straightforward tables and seating throughout. The front room feels separate from the bar area, giving the pub a little more space than many micropubs while still keeping everything compact and easy to move around.
