About Warton
Warton is an old village beneath Warton Crag, north of Carnforth. St Oswald’s Church sits at its centre and the village is also known for links with the Washington family, ancestors of George Washington. The surrounding limestone landscape and nearby nature reserve give Warton a very different setting from the coastal stops further south.
Getting to Warton
From Carnforth, use the local 49 bus towards Warton. Old School Brewery is a short walk from the George Washington stops.
