Old School Brewery was founded in 2012 at Holly Bank Barn beneath Warton Crag. The brewery occupies a renovated old barn and initially focused on producing beer for pubs across the local area. The onsite bar developed into a regular pub-style venue, giving visitors the chance to drink the brewery’s beers where they are made.
Inside, the old barn setting is still clear, with stone walls, heavy wooden beams and straightforward furniture. The room keeps a practical brewery feel rather than being heavily decorated, while the covered outdoor area adds plenty of extra seating around the building.
Beer: Three regular cask ales and one changing cask ale.
Opening: Mon–Thu 10:30–21:00; Fri 10:30–23:00; Sat–Sun 10:30–22:00
Food: The onsite Canteen serves pub-style food on selected days.
