The Venue

A 17 minute walk from Cleveleys Tram Stop to The Venue located at North Promenade, FY5 1LW – Google Maps
The Venue first opened as the Royal Hotel and has always been a noticeable spot right by the seafront. Over the years it changed with the times, becoming a place with bars and holiday flats by the 1980s. In 2002, it reopened as the Royal Venue, before a big refurbishment in 2006 saw it renamed The Venue. Since then, it’s become a familiar part of Cleveleys, drawing in both locals and visitors looking for somewhere to eat, drink, and spend time by the coast.
Inside, it feels bright and relaxed, with plenty of space to settle in. Large windows bring in lots of natural light and give you views out towards the seafront, which really lifts the room. There’s a good mix of seating, from bar stools and high tables to more laid-back dining areas, plus a raised section that works well for groups and events. The décor is modern but comfortable, with warm wooden floors and soft lighting. Outside, there’s a spacious terrace with plenty of picnic-style benches, making it a great spot to sit with a drink and take in the sea air.
Drink Offerings – choice of up to 4 cask ales, a choice of ciders and a range of keg beers to choose from.
