St Annes-on-the-Sea, established in the 19th century, was designed by the architects Maxwell and Tuke from Bury, who subsequently went on to build the iconic Blackpool Tower. For more than four decades, it served as the headquarters for the renowned “Premium Bonds” before relocating to the adjacent town of Blackpool. Today, it is celebrated for its promenade, sandy beach, sand dunes, and traditional pier, in addition to offering excellent shopping opportunities.
