Morecambe

Morecambe is the biggest section of the trail, with pubs spread between the seafront, Bare and Torrisholme. Allow a little extra time here, as some stops are easy to walk between while others are better linked by the 5, 100 or 1A buses.

About Morecambe

Morecambe grew rapidly as a Victorian seaside resort, drawing visitors to its promenade and wide views across the bay. The town became closely linked with rail travel, entertainment and holidays, and today its seafront is still centred around landmarks such as the Midland Hotel and the Eric Morecambe statue.

Getting Around Morecambe

The number 5 covers the main trail through Morecambe. Use the 100 or 1A for Torrisholme Taps, while Coffeys can also be reached by the 1A or on foot from The Pestle & Mortar.
