CASK – Layton

Layton is situated on the outskirts of Blackpool’s centre, bordered by Bispham, Grange Park, and Marton. A visit to Kingscote Park is highly recommended during your visit. This park features a historic cemetery that is the final resting place of notable individuals, including Ada Boswell (Queen of the Gypsies), Gerald Richardson (a murdered policeman), and several service members from World War I and World War II, including Polish and Royal Yugoslav Air Force airmen from the latter conflict.

A short 15 minute walk from Layton Railway Station to CASK located at 9 Layton Road, FY3 8EA – Google Maps

It opened in November 2019 and is a splendid one-roomed Micropub that offers outdoor seating at the front and a covered seating area at the back. Inside is a fantastic, cosy and welcoming seating area, with the bar located in the corner.
